A remake of “Splinter Cell” is in the works

After some gossip and talk about an animated series, Ubisoft is finally ready to make a new series Splinter Sil Game – in a speaking manner. The game developer revealed plans for Splinter Sil A remake that aims to recreate the stealth action of early games while embracing modern technology.

The project will use the Snowdrop engine found in the latest games like Section 2 and next symbol picture title, but you’ll play in small, linear environments rather than Ubi’s signature (and often equivalent) open-world spaces. The company wants to meet current gaming expectations, but it also realizes this early on Splinter Sil It was attractive precisely because it rewarded truly undercover players who showed patience, intelligence, and methodical planning. In other words, don’t expect to survive a full gun battle.

It’s obviously too early for Ubisoft to offer a release date for the new version, but the Toronto studio is running the effort with a mix of veterans from its past. Splinter Sil Games and modern faces that will include some new employees. It is not clear whether the team is succeeding or not. The only Ubisoft Toronto Splinter Sil was the game Black list, which was well received, but not as respected as the original. The Toronto branch is also still grappling with the consequences of the Ubi – VP and . misconduct scandals Black list Maxime Biland, co-director, resigned after allegations of assault.

Gameplay may bode well if you’re worried that the remake will stray too far from what was made Splinter Sil Fabulous, though. And, crucially, this could be the starting point for a true revival. Chris Otey, the game’s creative lead, described the game’s replay as a “solid base” for the franchise’s future. Even if you don’t like the idea of rehashing, it could make for a real sequel to a series that many have already written off.
