Most of Google’s Nest devices are on sale for the holiday shopping season, and while those deep discounts have come and gone, we’re already seeing new sales pop up across the web. Best Buy and Adorama have the second generation Google Nest Hub for $60, which is $40 off its regular price and only $10 more than it was on Black Friday. The Nest Hub Max also retails for $190, while the Nest Audio and Nest Mini are down to $75 and $25, respectively.

Our favorites for most people are the Nest Hub and Nest Audio. The first is Google’s latest smart display and it has a score of 89 from us. It has a simple design, a beautiful 7-inch screen, clearer and louder sound than its predecessor, and faster performance as well. It’s just the right size to fit in any room without taking up too much space, you can even put it on your nightstand and it will track your sleep. The feature was a little tricky when we tested it, but as long as it’s precisely in place, it should get data on your sleep duration, quality, schedule, and even snoring information.
Nest Audio is Google’s $100 smart speaker that competes with the Amazon Echo and Apple’s HomePod mini. It holds its own against both devices and gets a score of 87 from us for its powerful sound quality, charming design, good Google Assistant performance, and stereo mode when two speakers are paired. It’s the smart speaker to have if you care at all about sound quality and already rely on Google Assistant a lot. The Nest Mini might sound like an attractive $25 option, but you get what you pay for. Like its Amazon counterpart, the Echo Dot, the Nest Mini is an affordable way to get Google Assistant in a small place but you’ll sacrifice a bit for audio quality.
The Nest Hub Max is for those who want to take part in both audio and Google smart devices. It has the best sound quality of them all plus a 10-inch screen, gesture controls, and the ability to double as a Nest Cam. A good smart screen at home would be a screen in the living room or kitchen so everyone in your family can access it when necessary.
