Gaming chairs have been on the market for quite a while now, so you could almost say Razer was late in the game with its own offering. However, despite being a bit late to the game, Razer wasted no time creating a slew of gaming chairs, with its latest model revealed at CES 2022.
The company has announced a new gaming chair called the Enki Pro HyperSense. On the outside, it looks somewhat similar to other Enki gaming chairs previously released by the company, but there’s more than meets the eye.
According to Raer, the Enki Pro HyperSense actually features a motor built close to the wheels of the chair that allows it to vibrate and wobble while playing games. This is designed to help provide players with a greater depth of immersion during gameplay, so that things like explosions, crashes, and more can be felt on the chair as they play.
The chair is able to tilt back or lift players vertically by up to 1.5 inches with about 1G of force, with a relatively fast response time of 5ms. The company claims that it will be compatible with about 2,200 out-of-game games, movies, and songs, but we expect to add more support in the future.
There is no price for the Enki Pro HyperSense yet, simply because Razer is treating it more as a concept than an actual product they plan to sell, but who knows, maybe it will eventually turn out to be a reality.
