To reawaken the iconic hotel, global design agency Yabu Pushelberg has embarked on a complete redesign of Park Lane New York. Located in Billionaires’ Row, just a block south of Central Park, the hotel has been restored with a modern yet eccentric charm that provides an ode to New York’s past and present. The 47-story hotel offers a unique, all-inclusive retreat with 610 rooms and suites—about half of which offer sweeping views of the park—along with three custom culinary concepts by Scott Sartiano, a 1,000-square-foot indoor fitness center, and over 11,000 square feet of space. Flexible indoor and outdoor spaces.

Located in Central Park south between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, hotel guests are within a stone’s throw of Central Park’s 840 acres of four-season glory, as well as within walking distance of major attractions, cultural institutions, entertainment venues, and more. (When booking your stay, the concierge can help you plan an unforgettable trip to complement your hotel stay.) Home to the world’s most coveted addresses in Central Park South, the hotel’s rich color palette excites the senses from the murals for guest rooms and public spaces subtly channeling the hotel experience to its Art Nouveau lettering and light and airy setting.

“While creating a more modern Park Lane New York, Yabu Pushelberg set out carefully to restore the existing architectural details of this historic building,” Prince A. Sanders, Managing Director of Park Lane New York. “In doing so, they commissioned New York City-based artists En Viu to create playful murals for guest rooms and public spaces that subtly channel the hotel experience.”

Each of the 610 guest rooms and suites at Park Lane New York has been designed to epitomize the city’s charm both outside and inside. Each accommodation features large windows overlooking either Central Park, the New York City skyline, or both, while inside, custom murals – designed and designed by En Viu – adorn the walls that bring the beauty of New York City into each room. A total of seven different room types are available, each featuring beautiful Bellino linens and a stunningly designed bathroom featuring amenities from Le Labo Hinoki, with the hotel’s jewel crowning the Belvedere Suite.

The two-bedroom castle-shaped penthouse sits above the 45th floor of the hotel, standing above all of Central Park. The 1,750-square-foot penthouse suite features beautifully landscaped murals on its walls with luxurious, modern furnishings, while a bathroom designed with black and white accents is impressive.

Scott Sartiano has partnered with Highgate, the leading hospitality management company that operates the hotel, to conceptualize three new food and beverage venues throughout the hotel. “Overlooking the park” is the famous New York slogan and something I’ve always wanted to be a part of. The spaces on Park Lane truly exemplify that, providing a mix of attractions for both tourists and locals who live and work in the area,” said Sartiano.

From their 80-seat lobby bar with outdoor promenade Rose Lane to Harry’s New York Bar, their intimate restaurant on the hotel’s second floor, and the only rooftop Darling Lounge in Central Park South on the hotel’s rooftop, guests get one of a – Background of the sprawling Manhattan skyline and park.

Rose Lane transforms from a quick coffee on the go throughout the day into the perfect cocktail destination for an alcoholic. Featuring a la carte selections and takeaway orders, the menu features bright, fresh flavors with great presentation such as cereal bowls or Neapolitan pizza. Celebrate happy hour on their patio with floral herbal cocktails, appropriate for sessions, or enjoy a spacious raw and caviar bar with an extensive list of organic and natural wines for dinner and late nights. Every Thursday and Friday in December (except for Christmas Eve), a curated curated textile series, curated by Zero Bond, is on Rose Lane and in the hotel lobby.

Their front martini menu with house and sap tinctures also features an array of spirits including aged port of bourbon, coffee-infused scotch and more. For breakfast, avocado toast and lobster benedicts highlight the menu while dinner and late-night menus feature artisanal dishes and a selection of chilled seafood available in the decadent towers. For an unforgettable experience, customers are invited to enjoy premium caviar service with fresh cream and homemade chips.

The soon-to-open cocktail bar is located atop the hotel’s 47th floor. Park Lane New York officially opens to the public on December 1, 2021, and offers the perfect spot in the Big Apple to explore the city’s bustling wonders.
