This is a shiatsu hand massager for players

Many of us know at least one person who plays games for hours on end and may tire their hands in the process. To help soothe cumbersome gloves, Japanese company Bauhutte has created hand massagers for gamers.

The MSG-01H-BK hand massager, which works with either hand, has a 15-layer airbag for each finger and a shiatsu plate for the palm of the hand. There are two main options: Shiatsu poses for the whole hand, and the other focuses on extending the fingers.

There are a few intensity settings, plus an optional hand warmer that’s said to improve circulation. You will need to move your hand to the side to massage your thumb. The hand massager turns off automatically after 10 minutes. Bauhutte suggests using the device before play sessions to warm your hands, when taking breaks and afterward to cool off.

While some may scoff at hand massagers for gamers, it’s not a very silly idea. Many competitors in esports use hand warmers between rounds to absorb moisture, keep their fingers warm and improve circulation. Some esports organizations use masseurs to keep players in top shape.

Other companies have made manual massagers, although it makes sense that Bauhutte would market their version to players. It caught attention last year for its gaming bed, and the company sells a wide range of furniture and accessories with gamers in mind, such as a portable foot massager.

The Bauhutte hand massager is only available in Japan at the moment and costs about $150. as Kotaku Notes, the company has an English website, so it may offer the device elsewhere as well.
