The problem with voice messages is that speaking on the spot may result in messages filled with “umms” and “uhhs”, which can make messages unnecessarily longer. For WhatsApp users, you may be happy to know that the company has announced a feature update in the latest version of the app.
According to the post on the WhatsApp account on Twitter, users will now be able to preview their voice messages before sending them. Usually you have to press and hold the record button, and sometimes you might accidentally send a message that you think could be better phrased or said.

Instead of canceling it, the new feature will let you preview what you just recorded and decide if you want to send it, or if you want to do it again. It’s actually a very useful feature, especially for those who rely heavily on voice messages on WhatsApp, so if you are, this might be a feature that you should be able to look forward to in the latest update of the app.
WhatsApp is definitely not the only app that allows sending voice messages, but with the addition of this feature, it makes a more compelling reason to use it, unless of course you’re uncomfortable with the fact that it’s owned by Meta.
